AC Milan will make Arsenal striker top priority this summer
AC Milan have pinpointed Arsenal’s top striker Robin van Persie as their main summer transfer target and see him as the right man to replace the ageing goal poacher Filippo Inzaghi.
At 37 Inzaghi is right at the end of his career and AC Milan feel that van Persie could slip into the forward line up at Milan comfortably and with his keen eye for goal make a difference against European giants in the Champions League.
Arsenal have however suggested that van Persie is not for sale and the Dutchman himself and pledged his future to the Emirates on numerous occasions. Should AC Milan decide on bidding for the 27 year old then it will cost the Serie A giants at least £20m.
It may not be the best of choices for van Persie should he decide to leave the Premiership with AC Milan currently having the likes of Robinho, Zlatan Ibrahimović (On loan), and Alexandre Pato already on their books.
