Arsenal considering big bid for England left-back
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing to enquire into the availability of Everton and England left back Leighton Baines but knows he will have to make a big bid to tempt David Moyes into selling.
The North London side sold Gael Clichy to Manchester City on Monday and are looking to replace the Frenchman with an even better player in Baines. The board are fully aware that he will not come cheap and that a bid of at least £18m would need to be put on the table for Everton to even consider.
Everton manager David Moyes will not want his top player to leave but may decide to cash in if Arsenal’s offer is serious and substantial enough.
