Chelsea FC ask advisors of top striker if he fancies London

Chelsea FC have asked the advisors of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez whether he would be prepared to join them in West London after the player claimed he does not wish to remain at Eastlands.

Roman Abramovich was said to be upset when the Argentine chose City after leaving Manchester United and believes it is worth asking whether London would be better for him despite Tevez being homesick from Argentina. Chelsea feel that London may be better for him and will ask his advisors whether a move to London could become a reality.

Manchester City would obviously sell him abroad ofcourse and it is likely that Tevez may prefer to move to Spain and have his family join him from Argentina. The chances of the 27 year old returning to Argentina are slim, through his transfer value alone there will not be many teams, if any, willing to pay the £30m or so City will demand.
