Roma told it will take at least £28m for Arsenal playmaker

Serie A side Roma have been told by Arsenal that it will take a bid of at least £28m if they want to take Samir Nasri to the Italian capital this summer.

Nasri has been the subject of mass speculation although he may still sign a new lucrative offer on the table however Arsenal’s price looks to have put Roma off the 24 year old. There were also reports on Thursday that Manchester City were close to sealing a £20m bid however they do not correspond with the value we understand to be the absolute minimum for the 24 year old.

As things stand it would seem somewhat of a coup for Arsenal to keep hold of both Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, and with Roma now being forced to look elsewhere, it looks as though the North London side and beginning to stand firm.
